J. Ross Party Productions started doing business in 1988 with a small DJ system of which consisted of worn out equipment purchased from other disc jockeys in the area at the time. I personally had been collecting records since 1966 and already owned an array of different types of music when I began my career as a professional DJ of which at that time I admit was not very professional. A couple of years passed and I purchased a new complete state of the art sound system complete with two Technics 1200 turntables. Yes, the compact disc was in its infancy at that time and I was spinning 45’s and 12 inch records on those turntables until the compact disc became a reality.

When CD’s began to hit the market everything was converted over to the new digital sound giving us a quality of sound never heard of until then. I now have converted my musical library once again to a laptop computer which enables me to carry a huge selection of the greatest hits to every function. From the thirties up to today’s chart busters, J. Ross Party Productions can provide a wide variety of music styles to please even the most diverse musical taste. From big band to down home country, your favorite sock hoppin’ hits from the fifties and sixties, or today’s rap and top 40 to pounding rock and roll beats I will always have the music you and your guest want to hear. Our library is updated monthly with newest and latest releases so you will be able to get the hits before they become hits. With this amount of selections available to your guest I strongly encourage requests and usually fulfill a large percentage of them.
